We've Made it to China

This is Katie, Allie's sister. I'll be posting for her while she's in China!

Well, everyone (Mom, Dad, Mick, Allie, and Isaac) left St. Louis in the early, early morning hours of the13th. Their first flight took them to Chicago, where they then boarded a 15-hour flight to Shanghai.

Now they are safe and sound at their hotel in Shanghai, and hopefully sleeping. They landed in China on the afternoon of the 14th, which was the wee hours of the morning to their bodies. (For reference, Shanghai is thirteen hours ahead of Central Time in the US.)

Isaac made friends with the pilots on the plane and then thoroughly enjoyed the Sprite and movies from his seat.

The plan was to eat an early-ish dinner and then head to the pool before turning in for the night. When they get up on Saturday, they are hoping to do some sightseeing in Shanghai and then will head to Taiyuan on Sunday. That is where they get to meet Samuel! Monday is the big day.
