The last two days have been a whirlwind of sightseeing! Although we are tired from jet lag and all the activity, I am very grateful to get to see so much of Beijing in just three days. And it is keeping me too busy to feel anxious!We have been with a group of other adoptive families from our agency and we have really enjoyed getting to know them.
Friday we toured the Great Wall, a traditional Hutong, and took a rickshaw ride.
Saturday (we are 14 hours ahead here) we toured Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. It has been so very cold, and we are completely bundled up in all our photos.
Tomorrow we fly to the city where we will meet Isaac. Two more days and he will have a family!
