His Room is Ready!

Just as we are finishing up Isaac's room, we get the email notification of our Article 5! This is the last piece we need to show the China Children's Welfare Agency that we are ready. Now we wait for them to issue the official Travel Approval and we can plan our trip! We still hope to be in the November 15th group, but it is more likely going to be December 6th. Bit by bit God is teaching me that I am not in control and that is ok, because HE IS. But I still think November 15th is best. :)

Meanwhile, we have Isaac's room all set up. A good friend painted two beautiful paintings for us to put up- the monkey and the alligator- and we have a corresponding stuffed animal for each. His twin bed is covered in the first quilt I have ever made. Next to it is the cushy rocker recliner for bedtime stories and cuddles. All the way on the left is a cool cabinet from the 60's which is his toy chest. Thanks to some wonderful friends we have a soccer ball, books, matchbox cars, a wooden train, and alphabet blocks.

I need to finish the binding on the quilt, but other than that his room is ready!
