Coming Soon...

Many have encouraged me to write our "story". They say others will be interested and those going through similar times will feel companionship and encouragement. I know this is true because as I have lived through these last few years others' stories have bolstered my spirits. The story of how we got here is long and I hope to tell it some time, but for now I just want to catch up with where we are now. (See crazy timeline on the side!) It has been a long road, but our son is almost within reach and I can't make myself dwell on what has come before. All I can think of is HIM!

This week was crazy busy and stressful. In the middle of the chaos, I got a call from our agency. They said they had good news- they received our LOA! This is crazy because our dossier was logged in to China's system on July 25th. It takes 3-4 months to hear back with an approval. We heard back in 33 days! Of course I want to go get him sooner rather than later anyway, but this is significant because his birthday is December 4th. He will be five. We had so wanted to be with him for this birthday but knew that wasn't possible. But NOTHING is impossible with God! It looks like we will be able to travel in time. We will hopefully be in China with him on his birthday!
